Italy-TWIns-Waseda 2011
Following is the program for the whole Italy-TWInsWaseda 2011 event.

Waseda University is one of the most important scientific partner for Italy, as testified by the numerous joint initiatives in the last years.
Among them, we can mention the following:
- Joint laboratory on Biorobotics, Science and Engineering “RoboCasa”: P. Dario (SSSA), S. Hashimoto;
- Joint Laboratory on ICT and Quantum Technologies: S. Pascazio (UniBa), H. Nakazato;
- Joint laboratory on Life Sciences Japanese-Italian Tissue Engineering Laboratory (JITEL), T. Okano (TWMU) and P. Di Nardo (Roma Tor Vergata) (which is actually located in TWIns – “Tokyo Women’s Medical University-Waseda University Joint Institution for Advanced Biomedical Sciences”, of which Waseda is a core member);
- Joint project on Nanoscience and Advanced Materials: E. Prati (CNR), T. Shinada
and several other collaborations with IIT, University of Cassino, University Campus Biomedico, as well as joint participation in European projects such as Neurobotics, RoboSoM, Capsil, InterACT, and so on.
Objective of the event “Waseda TWIns Italy” is, therefore, to present all the above collaboration projects with a homogeneous and integrated approach. All the symposia will be intended to present to the common people the different joint activities and their main results, with a specific emphasis on the importance of the twinning between Waseda and Italy.
